About AI Girlfriends Guide
We compare AI girlfriend apps so you can pick one without paying for three first.
What we do
AI Girlfriends Guide tracks 28 AI girlfriend and AI companion apps. For each one we record what it costs, what the free plan includes, what it can do (pictures, video, voice messages, live calls, memory, group chats, custom characters) and who runs it. We turn that into a score out of 10 and a ranking, and we publish separate rankings for the things people most often look for: free plans, NSFW chat, voice calls, pictures, anime characters and more.
We are a small independent editorial team. We are not owned by, and do not own, any of the apps we cover.
Where our information comes from
Everything in our tables comes from each app's own published material: its pricing page, feature pages, help centre and terms of service. We re-check every app at least once a month and show the date of the last check on every page. When an app does not publish something (a price, a company name, a feature) we say so rather than guess. The methodology page explains exactly how each score is calculated.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a paid plan after clicking one, the app pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way. Commission never affects where an app ranks: apps that pay us and apps that do not are scored with the same formula, and several of our highest-ranked apps pay us nothing.
