DarLink AI vs HeyGF: which AI girlfriend app is better?

Our verdict

If you mostly want to talk, HeyGF is the better free option, 30 messages a day with no card, though photos, videos and 18+ chat need a plan. DarLink AI caps free chat at 5 messages but lets you make 3 images a day, send 5 audio messages and join public group chats. Both keep long-term memory and offer a character builder.

Paid, HeyGF is the more transparent of the two: $9.99 month to month or $8.33 a month on the Casual annual plan, with unlimited messages on every tier and coins for photos and videos. Full photo galleries need an annual plan. DarLink AI shows its subscription price only inside the app. Neither has live calls. HeyGF (Y2A LLC, Delaware) gives no refunds for partial periods and treats coin packs as final; DarLink AI (FAMELINK SA, Switzerland) has no refund terms on record.
