FantasyGF vs PolyBuzz: which AI companion app is better?

Our verdict

FantasyGF is a paid companion app at a budget price. Its 12-month plan is $5.83 a month ($12.99 month to month) with 100 tokens, calls cost 4 tokens a minute and images 4 tokens each. It lists personas and scenarios too. The drawbacks are a free trial with no published message cap, discounts set against inflated regular prices, and no phone app.

PolyBuzz costs nothing to try: no sign-up, ads, and more than 20 million characters from anime, TV, film and games. It speaks replies aloud but has no live calls or video, and its FAQ says characters can forget earlier parts of long chats unless you pay for stronger memory models from $9.90 a month. FantasyGF is clearer on refunds, returning subscription fees if you ask before the next billing period starts; PolyBuzz publishes no refund terms. Read the FantasyGF review for its plans.
