How to cancel Candy AI and ask for a refund

Cancel Candy AI step by step

1. Log in to candy.ai
2. Open the My Profile menu and click Settings
3. At the bottom, under your subscription details, click Unsubscribe
4. Follow the prompts to confirm

Candy AI subscriptions cannot be paused, so Unsubscribe is the only option if you want a break. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date shown in Settings, and keep the confirmation email. If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay, you still cancel on the Candy website: those are payment methods at checkout, not App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Candy AI refunds

The refund rules are strict and published:

• Subscriptions: ask within 24 hours of payment; refused if you have used more than 20 tokens; card payments only.
• Token packs: within 24 hours, and only if unused.
• UK and EU: you can withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase, less a prorated amount for service already used.
• Not refunded: technical problems on your side, content removed by moderation, and feature changes.

Canceling does not trigger a refund on its own. Email support@candymail.ai with the date, amount and your account email, and do it inside the 24-hour window.

What happens to your tokens and characters

Candy's own pages disagree here. The terms say unused tokens expire when a subscription ends and do not carry over to a later one. A newer help article says canceling keeps your token balance for when you resubscribe. Until the two match, assume the stricter rule and spend your tokens before the period ends.

A refund or chargeback is different: it ends access and removes remaining tokens straight away. After the period ends, your account returns to the free plan. Our Candy AI pricing page explains what tokens buy.

Deleting your Candy AI account

To leave for good, go to My Profile, Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account and confirm. Deleting the account also cancels an active subscription, but Candy's help center has an article for people still being charged after deleting, so unsubscribe first and check that the plan shows as canceled. After a deletion request, data is removed without undue delay, apart from financial records Candy must keep. Our Candy AI safety page covers what is kept and for how long.

If a charge looks unfamiliar

Candy AI bills as "EverAI". If you see it and do not remember subscribing, check every login you might have used, since Candy accepts email, Google, Discord and X accounts, and look in each inbox for a receipt. Then contact support@candymail.ai before disputing the charge with your bank; a chargeback ends access and removes your tokens.
