Candy AI pricing: Premium and its billing lengths

Candy AI's main paid plan, Premium, is sold on 12-month, 3-month and 1-month billing. The subscriptions page shows the yearly plan at 70% off the monthly price and the 3-month plan at 35% off. Viewed from the UK, the page also offered billing every 2 weeks or every week and showed prices in pounds, so the options and currency depend on where you are. Our price check puts Premium at $3.99 a month on the yearly plan, charged up front ($47.88 for the year), and $13.99 month to month.

You can pay by card, Pay by Bank or local methods in some countries, and local taxes may be added at checkout. There is no App Store or Google Play app; the site shows how to add it to your phone's home screen instead.

Is Candy AI free?

You can create a free account and browse every character, but the free chat is short. Our data lists the free plan as 5 chat messages in total, 1 custom character and 1 generated picture, and Candy's terms of service say a free user "may generally send a maximum of 5 messages" before further use needs a subscription or another paid option.

How Candy AI tokens work

• Monthly grant: Premium adds tokens each month, "generally 100" per the terms, with the exact number shown at checkout.
• What they buy: image generation, voice notes and other extended features. Candy does not publish a per-picture token cost on the public pages we checked, so you only see prices inside the app.
• Extra tokens: token packs can also be bought as one-off purchases.
• Expiry: when a subscription ends, remaining tokens expire and do not carry over to a later subscription.
• Refunds and chargebacks: a refunded purchase or a chargeback cancels access and removes remaining tokens straight away.

Tokens cannot be moved between accounts or swapped for money. Candy sometimes offers bonus-token rebates to selected users who spend over a set amount. Pictures, video and voice on Candy AI

Pictures are Candy AI's strength. Premium lists 18+ images and 18+ videos, and character profiles also carry ready-made photos and videos you can buy. The terms describe this pre-made media as made with generative AI tools and edits the company has rights to. Candy also has a Shorts section and a separate image generator page.

Chat and memory

Candy's chat is built around a curated roster plus characters created by users, split into girls, anime and guys sections, so it also works as an AI boyfriend app. You can design a character's looks and personality yourself, and scenario-style chats are supported.

Memory is the weak point. Our data records it as conversational: a character follows the current conversation but does not build a long-term history that carries into new chats. That matters if you want a partner who remembers last week, and matters less if you prefer short scenes. The terms also remind you that every exchange is fiction and that characters cannot keep real-world promises such as meeting up.

Is Candy AI safe and legit? Company, privacy and refunds

Candy AI is run by EverAI Limited, incorporated in Malta under company number C107181, at 56 Central Business Centre, Santa Venera. Its terms are governed by Maltese law. Card statements show EverAI rather than the app name.

Read the privacy notice before you share anything personal. It says conversations may be used to train and develop its AI and moderation models, including human review of de-identified chats, and that outside AI providers and hosts may receive the content of your messages. Account data is generally kept for three years after your last activity, or deleted sooner if you ask. Log files are deleted after 30 days.

Refunds: you have 24 hours from payment to ask, and the request is refused if you have used more than 20 tokens; only card payments can be refunded. How to cancel Candy AI

1. Log in and open Settings.
2. Choose Unsubscribe and confirm.
3. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and you are not charged again.
