The cancel instructions come from Muah AI's terms, which is all the site publishes on this (terms, archived). If you cancel by email, send it from the address on your account, include the date and last four digits of the card charged, and keep a copy of the message.

Can you get a Muah AI refund?

Not as a rule. Muah AI's terms say consumer subscriptions are not refundable. They add that, in good faith and special circumstances, support can issue a one-time partial or full refund. To ask, email love@muah.ai with your account email, the charge date and the reason.

Do not go straight to a chargeback. The terms say that if you dispute a payment without contacting support first, Muah AI will take a "zero refund stance" and counter-dispute with evidence. Contact support, wait for a reply, then go to your card issuer if nothing happens. Prices for each tier are on our Muah AI pricing page.

What happens after you cancel

Muah AI does not publish what happens when a subscription ends. In most apps, paid access runs to the end of the period, then the account falls back to free use; check your settings page after cancelling to confirm the renewal date is gone. Cancelling does not delete your account or chats. Our Muah AI review covers the free side.

Deleting your Muah AI account

Muah AI shows a "Delete account" option in the account menu, and its landing page says you can "Delete account with ease". Privacy requests go to love@muah.ai. Given the 2024 breach, it is worth deleting an account you no longer use, and asking by email that your chats and prompts be erased. Cancel the subscription first. Our account deletion guide has a template for data requests, and Is Muah AI safe? covers the breach.

If a charge looks unfamiliar

Muah AI does not publish the text that appears on card statements, and VIP checkout is card only. Search your email for a Muah AI receipt, then email love@muah.ai with the charge details. If you never had an account and a charge appears, contact your card issuer at once, because breached companion apps attract fraud. Our guides on cancelling any AI companion subscription and spotting AI girlfriend scams cover the next steps, and Muah AI alternatives lists named companies to try instead.
