Is DreamBF free? What you get with your AI boyfriend before paying

What the DreamBF free plan includes

DreamBF.ai is the boyfriend-only sister site of DreamGF, run by the same Romanian company, DreamAI SRL. Its homepage invites you to "Try our simulator for FREE!", and its refund policy refers to a free trial. On top of that, the Daily Claim Bonus works like this:

• Day 1: 10 free messages.
• Each day in a row you claim: 1 more message.
• Day 40: the cap of 50 free messages a day.
• Miss a day: you drop back to 10.

You can sign up with email, Google, Apple or Discord. Free accounts can browse the boyfriends, from realistic men you design to cosplay characters and fictional characters from films, comics and games. Our DreamBF review covers the characters in more detail.

What you have to pay for

A DreamBF membership adds unlimited messages, 100 tokens a month, voice calls and voice messages, image generation up to five times faster, blur removal and faster replies. Tokens then pay for extras on top:

• Pictures: 10 tokens each.
• Voice calls: 7 tokens a minute.
• Voice messages: 3 tokens each.
• A new AI boyfriend from the builder: 20 tokens.

So 100 monthly tokens cover about 10 pictures, or about 14 minutes on the phone with him, or a mix. Extra token packs are for paying members only, and clicking one charges your saved card straight away. Our guide on how tokens work applies to boyfriend apps too.

How far free messages go

Ten messages is a short hello, not a conversation. The streak is what makes the free plan usable: claim every day for about six weeks and you reach 50 a day, which is enough for a proper chat each evening. The catch is that one missed day resets you to 10, so the free plan rewards daily habits more than it rewards trying the app.

Memory is the other limit. Our data rates DreamBF's memory as conversational rather than long-term, so he remembers the current chat better than last week. If you want a boyfriend who builds a shared history, compare the free plans on our free AI boyfriend page, which ranks apps on what they give you before you pay.

The cheapest paid option, and the renewal catch

DreamBF sells three memberships, all with the same features. Every price on the page is a first-period discount, and each one renews at a much higher rate unless you cancel:

The 12-month plan works out to $5.83 a month in its first year, the lowest per-month price, but it renews at more than four times that first-year price. The monthly plan costs $12.99 for the first month and then roughly doubles. The pricing page also prints the monthly and 3-month labels the wrong way round, as DreamGF does, so read the amount, not the label. Our DreamBF pricing guide walks through every plan.

Free alternatives for an AI boyfriend

Three higher-scoring apps with male characters give you more for free:

• Secrets AI (8.5 out of 10): 20 messages a day with no streak needed, a strong memory and an AI boyfriend section. See our Secrets AI review.
• Selira AI (8.2): free text chat with no cap and a Male filter on its companions.
• TryNectar AI (8.2): 15 messages and 10 image generations a day, with a Guys category.

Our DreamBF alternatives page ranks eight boyfriend apps, and our main AI boyfriend ranking covers the whole field.
