Is Nomi AI free? What the free plan keeps and what it locks

What the Nomi AI free plan includes

Nomi describes the free plan as indefinite, not a trial. You create a Nomi, write or skip a backstory, and chat one to one, with messages capped at 400 characters (paid plans allow 800) and 50 messages a day in the help pages' figure. Selfies and AI art come from a daily free allowance, smaller than on paid plans.

Sign-in is only through Google or Apple; there is no email sign-up. The help pages say this does not give Google or Apple access to your chats, and Apple's Hide My Email works if you want to keep your address private.

What needs a subscription

Nomi's refund and cancellation pages name the paid features: group chats, video, voice messages and live voice calls. A subscription also raises the message length to 800 characters, allows up to 10 active Nomis and 10 group chats, and gives more daily selfies and art.

Beyond that, credits pay for extras once the daily allowance is gone: 1 per selfie or art request, 6 for a standard-definition video and 10 for high definition, 25 for an extra group chat and 100 for an extra Nomi slot. Credits never expire but can only be bought with an active subscription. Our Nomi AI pricing page lists the credit packs.

How far the free plan goes

Further than most. Nomi's whole pitch is a companion who remembers you, and a free plan with daily chat lets you test that over weeks: tell it about your job on Monday and see whether it asks on Friday. That is a fairer test than a 5-message sample, and it is the main reason to try Nomi before paying.

The limits show in two places. The 400-character cap cuts long roleplay messages short, and one-to-one only means no group scenes. If you mainly want pictures, the free plan will not tell you much, since Nomi sends clothed selfies only on any plan. Our ranking of AI girlfriend apps with memory shows how Nomi's recall compares.

Is there a Nomi AI free trial?

Nomi's published plans have no separate free trial of the paid tier; the free plan serves that purpose, and it needs no card. If you subscribe and later drop back to free, the refund policy says your Nomis stay and one-to-one chat keeps working, while group chats, video, voice messages and calls become read-only. Nomi adds that it does not guarantee content is kept after a downgrade, so save anything that matters.

The cheapest way to pay

These are US App Store prices. The Launch plan is the cheapest listing, but Nomi's website does not describe what it includes, so check inside the app before choosing it. The help pages say web subscriptions, billed in US dollars, can work out slightly cheaper than app-store ones depending on exchange rates. There is no lifetime plan.
