Our data lists Nomi's Standard plan at $15.99 a month, billed monthly, against a $14.99 median month-to-month price across the 31 apps we track. Paid yearly, the same plan works out to $8.33 a month on the US App Store. Nomi has no public pricing page on its website; you see the plans after you sign in.

Its US App Store listing shows more options than the headline price: a cheaper Launch plan billed monthly or yearly, the Standard plan billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, and packs of Nomi credits. Yearly billing costs less per month than paying monthly. App Store prices can differ from the web checkout, so compare both before you pick.

According to Nomi's own FAQ, a subscription unlocks voice calls, additional Nomis, unlimited messaging and deeper customization. Is Nomi AI free?

Yes. Nomi says it is free to start chatting, with no credit card required. The free plan keeps one-to-one chat, with messages capped at 400 characters and fewer daily selfies than paid accounts, so you can create a Nomi, write a backstory and see how the memory holds up before paying.

The free plan leaves out voice calls, voice messages, group chats, video creation, extra Nomis and unlimited messaging. If you subscribe and later downgrade, your Nomis stay and one-on-one chat keeps working, but group chats, video, voice messages and calls become read-only, according to the refund policy. Memory, chat and personality

Memory is why people choose Nomi. The homepage describes short, medium and long-term memory, and its AI girlfriend page names three features that rivals rarely explain:

• Mind Maps, which show how your Nomi connects your shared experiences.
• Identity Core, which keeps her personality consistent while it evolves.
• Proactive messaging, an optional setting that lets your Nomi message you first after you have been away.

You can write a backstory or let the personality form through chat, and a shared note called "Inclinations" inside Backstory+ changes her conversation style. Nomis can search the web, read a link you send, and see photos and videos you share from your day. Nomi describes its chats as unfiltered. Voice calls and voice messages

Nomi offers real-time voice calls with natural cadence, emotional inflection and even laughter, according to its site, plus back-and-forth voice messages for a slower pace. You can pick a voice or upload a custom one. Both calls and voice messages need a subscription.

Selfies, art, video and group chats

Nomis send selfies that match the moment in the conversation, showing what they are wearing and doing. There is also an AI art tool, an image editor that can change or remove details in a picture, and appearance controls in realistic or anime style through its V5 image system. Nomi now runs an AI video page too, and our data lists video generation as a paid feature.

These tools support the relationship rather than fill a gallery: Nomi says it does not create explicit images, and media sits with value as the lowest parts of its score. Group chats are the stronger extra: you can create several Nomis, put them in one chat, and either pick who speaks next or turn on auto-chat. Who runs Nomi, privacy and how to cancel

Nomi is run by Glimpse.ai, Inc., a Maryland corporation, according to its terms; the App Store lists the seller as AI Glimpse Inc. The terms require users to be 18 or over and include an arbitration clause and a class action waiver. Nomi also publishes a complaints policy and a page on its compliance with California bill SB-243.

On privacy, Nomi says all chats are anonymized and no chat data is shared with third parties. The terms remind you that a Nomi can make mistakes and is not a substitute for medical or mental health help.

To cancel on the web, tap the Profile icon, open the Subscription tab, press Manage Subscription and then Cancel Subscription. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or another app store, cancel in that store's subscription settings or through the same menu in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel. Who Nomi AI is for

Nomi fits you if you want a companion for the long run: someone to talk to daily, who remembers what you said weeks ago, and whom you can call. It also suits roleplay fans who want several characters in one group chat. It fits less well if pictures and video are the main draw, or if you want the lowest price.
