PolyBuzz is a free character-chat app first. You can start without an account, pick from more than 20 million user-made characters, and import cards from Character.AI or TavernAI. Its AI girlfriend page says private one-to-one chats are not filtered, while public characters are screened. The limits show in long chats: its own FAQ admits characters can forget earlier parts, and the stronger memory models need a membership, from $9.90 a month for Poly Standard on the US App Store.
Secrets AI is a companion app built for one long relationship. Its Lorebook lets you check and edit what a character remembers, Premium adds 8,000 Moments a month for pictures, video and live calls, and the yearly plan is $9.17 a month. PolyBuzz reads replies aloud but has no live calls or video. Secrets AI's free plan is 20 messages a day, and it has no store app, where PolyBuzz is on iPhone and Android.
