Free alternatives to Secrets AI
If the free plan is the problem, three picks give more free chat than 20 messages a day. Selira AI does not cap free text chat at all, though free history is kept for 3 days. How we chose these Secrets AI alternatives
We started from the 31 apps in our ranking, removed Secrets AI itself and the general character-chat apps we keep out of girlfriend rankings, and kept the ones that fix at least one of the five problems above: a lower price, a bigger free plan, group chats on the base plan, live calls without a top tier, or a store app. The seven that made it are ordered by our overall score, which weighs conversation, memory, pictures and video, voice, value and trust, using each app's own pricing, feature and terms pages, re-checked monthly.
Several apps tie on the rounded score, so the order among FantasyGF, Kindroid and TryNectar AI follows our unrounded figures. Infatuated AI and My Dream Companion score as well as those three but were left out: both have calls and long-term memory, yet neither adds group chats or a free plan bigger than Secrets AI's 20 messages a day.
