How to cancel Anima AI Pro and delete your account

Cancel Anima Pro step by step

1. Cancel via account settings on the website, or email support@myanima.ai
2. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
3. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription

If you pay through Apple: Turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.

If you pay through Google Play: Turn off auto-renewal in your Google Play account settings before the trial or period ends.

First work out where you paid. A receipt from Google or Apple means a store subscription, cancelled in the store. A card receipt from Anima means a web subscription, cancelled on myanima.ai. If you took an introductory price or trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, or it renews at the full price.

Getting a refund from Anima

For web purchases, Anima's cancellation and refund policy allows a refund request within 24 hours of payment, by email to support@myanima.ai. After that, the terms say web purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires. Our data table mentions a 7-day window from an older version of its policy, so do not wait.

UK, EU, EEA and Swiss users have a 14-day right to withdraw, which ends once you agree to immediate access to the service; a proportional refund may still apply. What happens to your companion and chats

When Pro ends, the account returns to the free plan: ads come back, voice messages drop to 5 and Pro-only avatars and roleplay options lock. Chat itself stays free. Nothing is deleted just because you cancel.

Deleting your Anima account

Cancel the subscription first. Then, in the app's settings, go to Other and choose Delete account; Anima says "All the data will be deleted permanently". If you paid through Apple or Google

• Google Play: open Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Anima, and Cancel subscription. Do it before the trial or period ends.
• Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, Anima, and Cancel Subscription, at least 24 hours before the period ends.

Anima's App Store listing no longer returns results in the US or UK, but existing subscriptions still show in your Apple ID until they end. Refunds for store purchases go through Google or Apple, not Anima.

If a charge looks unfamiliar

Web charges are processed by Stripe for Anima, whose companies are Labane Corp. Ltd and, for the US and Canada, Ichigoichie Tech Limited. If a smaller-than-usual charge appears, it may be a retried renewal: Anima retries failed renewals at smaller amounts before cancelling. Email support@myanima.ai with the date and amount.
