How to cancel Kindroid, stop the trial and delete your account

Cancel Kindroid step by step

1. Open Settings
2. Click Billing
3. Update or cancel the subscription in the web payment portal

If you pay through Apple: Cancel through Apple subscriptions (support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039).

If you pay through Google Play: Cancel through Google Play subscriptions (support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481).

The key is knowing where you paid. If your receipt came from Apple or Google, cancel in the store; cancelling in Kindroid's settings will not stop a store subscription. On iPhone, that is Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Kindroid. On Android, it is Play Store, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.

Stopping the 3-day trial

The trial needs a payment method on file and rolls into the plan you selected unless you cancel before it ends. Cancel it the same way as a subscription, in Billing on the web or in the store if you started it in the app. Do it on day 2 to be safe, and check that Billing or the store no longer shows a renewal date.

Can you get a Kindroid refund?

Rarely. Kindroid's subscription docs say refunds are case by case, generally not given, and all sales are final at its discretion. In-app purchases such as selfie and voice credits are not refundable, and accounts suspended for breaking the terms get nothing back.

If you were charged in error, email hello@kindroid.ai with the date and amount. Do not start with a chargeback: the docs say users who dispute charges may be permanently banned. What happens to your Kindroids after you cancel

Your account moves to the free plan at the end of the paid period. Free accounts get the Lite model, 2 Kindroids, basic long-term memory and limited voice and selfies, so group chats, calls and the flagship models stop. The docs we checked do not say what happens to companions beyond the free limit of 2, so save anything you want to keep first. Credits you bought separately are not refunded.

Deleting your Kindroid account

There is no single delete-account button. Delete each Kindroid; when you delete the last one, it is scheduled for deletion after 24 hours, and then account data such as journals and your backstory is removed. Individual messages cannot be deleted, and subscription status and currency counts are kept to prevent abuse.

If a charge looks unfamiliar

App store charges show as Apple or Google. Web charges come from Beautifully Incorporated, the company behind Kindroid, which does not publish its statement name. Check your email for a Kindroid receipt, including for add-ons such as Ultra or credit purchases, then contact hello@kindroid.ai.
