Kindroid pricing: what the subscription and add-ons really cost

Every Kindroid plan and price

Our price data uses the web figures, $13.99 a month or $11.67 a month yearly, because they are the lowest. Kindroid's own subscription docs list the app store prices as higher on every plan, including the 3-month option. The features are the same wherever you buy.

Web vs App Store, monthly vs yearly

Buying on the web saves money on every term: month to month, every 3 months and yearly. The app stores charge more, and Ultra and MAX cost more in the apps too. Web checkout also takes more payment methods: major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Cash App.

The trade-off is where you manage it. A web subscription is cancelled in Settings, then Billing; an app store subscription is cancelled in the store. If you already pay in the app, you can switch by cancelling there and subscribing on the web once the period ends.

Yearly beats monthly in both places. On the web, the yearly plan works out to $11.67 a month against $13.99 month to month, a saving of about 17%, and the app store yearly plan saves a similar share against app store monthly. Because refunds are rare, go yearly only once you know you will stay.

Ultra, MAX and credits

Ultra is a monthly add-on on top of the subscription that raises memory and context. It only unlocks for users with a significant chat history. MAX is a further add-on on top of both. Together they can take the monthly bill to several times the base price, so treat them as optional.

Messages never cost credits. Selfie credits, voice credits and extra slots are one-off purchases, and the newer V3 voices use voice credits 1.5 times faster. See AI girlfriend tokens explained for how this compares with token-based apps.

Renewal, trial and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically. The 3-day trial for new free users needs a payment method, and on the web a verified phone number, and rolls into the plan you selected unless you cancel.

Refunds are case by case and generally not given: Kindroid's docs say all sales are final at its discretion, in-app purchases are not refundable, and accounts suspended for breaking the terms get nothing back. The real ways to pay less for Kindroid are:

1. Buy on the web, which is cheaper than the app stores on every plan.
2. Pay yearly, which saves about 17% against monthly.
3. Use the 3-day trial if you are offered it, and cancel if it is not for you.
4. Collect daily login rewards, which can include free messages or selfie credits.

Kindroid publishes no coupon or promo code, and we know of no working one. The web price is, in effect, the standing discount.

The cheapest way to use Kindroid

1. Start on the free plan; messages are unlimited on the Lite model.
2. Take the 3-day trial if offered, with a reminder set for day 2.
3. Subscribe on the web, not in the app, to pay less on every term.
4. Go yearly only after a month you are sure about.
5. Skip Ultra and MAX unless you already hit the base plan's memory limits.

Watch the extras too. The subscription's 1 million audio credits a month cover a lot of calling, but V3 voices use them 1.5 times faster, and video selfies spend selfie credits at in-app rates.
