How to cancel Selira AI and keep your free chat

2. Go to subscription settings and cancel the renewal
3. Access continues to the end of the paid period, then the account reverts to Free

If you cannot find the option, email hello@selira.ai from the address on your account and ask for the renewal to be canceled; keep the reply as proof. There is no App Store or Google Play version, so every plan is canceled on the website. Cancel at least a day before your renewal date.

Will your plan renew?

Assume it will. The site says subscriptions renew automatically on the same terms until canceled. When we checked the terms earlier in 2026, they described 3-month and 12-month plans as one-time payments with no recurring charge, so the pages have not always agreed. Canceling costs you nothing, because access continues to the end of the period either way, so cancel as soon as you decide not to continue.

Selira AI refunds

The terms allow refund requests within 14 days of purchase, by email or phone. They are reviewed within 48 hours and paid back to the original method in 5 to 10 business days. Refunds are possible for technical problems that stop you using the service, and partial refunds for unused subscription time.

Not refunded: credit packs that have been partly or fully used, periods in which you actively used the service, and anything over 14 days old. A separate clause says fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires, so treat any refund as case by case. Our Selira AI pricing page covers the plans.

Credits, history and companions after canceling

Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle, so spend them before the period ends. Credits from one-off packs never expire and stay usable on the free plan.

The site says canceling or downgrading keeps your conversation history and companions. The free plan, though, keeps chat history for 3 days, so copy out anything you want to keep from long stories before the paid period runs out. Free chat itself stays unlimited.

Deleting your Selira AI account

Request deletion from your profile page or by emailing hello@selira.ai. The contact page promises deletion within 48 hours, but the privacy policy says some data is kept for a reasonable period and chat data is kept for memory unless you ask, so name your chats and memory data in the request. If a charge looks unfamiliar

Selira does not publish its statement name; card payments go through Finby and crypto through Boomfi. Search your inboxes for a Selira receipt, then email hello@selira.ai within 14 days of the charge so a refund is still possible.
