Is Dondi AI free? What a free account can and cannot do

What the Dondi AI free plan includes

Dondi's pricing page sums up the free tier as "Chat with 200+ AI girls for free". It then marks uncensored chat and image generation as "Limited", and lists no video generation, no voice messages and no monthly tokens. You sign up with an email address, and no card is needed.

So a free account gives you the full cast to browse and a taste of chat and pictures. It is enough to see whether Dondi's characters and writing style suit you, and to try one of the uncensored conversations the site is built around.

The missing number: how many free messages?

Dondi does not publish its free message cap. The terms mention caps on free accounts, and the pricing page says "Limited", but no page gives a number or says whether the limit resets daily. Our data records the free plan as "Free chat, cap not published" for that reason.

That makes the free tier harder to plan around than apps that publish a figure, such as HeyGF's 30 messages a day or Secrets AI's 20. The practical approach is to note how many messages you get before the paywall appears in your first session, and whether the count is back the next day. Our Dondi AI review explains why Dondi tends to say less than its rivals.

What needs Premium

Premium unlocks the rest:

• Unlimited uncensored chat, instead of the limited free allowance
• Images, videos and voice messages
• 200 tokens a month, plus 500 bonus tokens in the first month on the yearly plan
• Early access to new features

Even on Premium, tokens pay for some actions: 1 token to play a new on-demand voice message, and a token price shown before each video you create. Our Dondi AI pricing page explains what 200 tokens a month covers.

The cheapest paid Dondi AI plan

The yearly plan is the cheapest per month at $5.99, charged as $71.88 up front. The 3-month plan costs $11.99 a month and the monthly plan $14.99. All three include the same features.

Dondi is one of the few apps here with a refund window: you can ask for a subscription refund within 24 hours of payment if your usage is minimal and your payment method is eligible. If you pay, decide within that first day. See how to cancel Dondi AI for the steps, and is Dondi AI safe? for what it does with your chats.

Free alternatives that publish their limits

• Selira AI: Unlimited chat, 2 companions, 3 days of history, and it says it does not use chats to train AI.
• HeyGF: 30 messages a day, no photos or videos, and every paid tier includes unlimited messages. Compare the two in Dondi.ai vs HeyGF.
• Secrets AI: 20 messages a day, no images or calls, with a score of 8.5 against Dondi's 8.0.
