Is Dondi AI safe and legit? What its own policies say

Who runs Dondi AI

The terms of service name Techcommerce Unlimited, 15090 Kensington Park Dr, Tustin, California 92782. The site footer instead says "Powered by dondi.ai Labs Inc.". Support is at support@dondi.ai. Two names are not a red flag on their own, since brands often sit on top of an operating company, but the site does not explain how the two relate.

An App Store app named "Dondi" is published by DONDITECH SAS, which is not this operator. Dondi.ai runs in the browser at app.dondi.ai; our Dondi AI review covers the product itself.

Billing: what shows on your statement

Checkout says: 'Charges will appear as "Dondi" on your bank statement'. That is discreet, since the word says nothing about the content. Checkout accepts credit and debit cards including Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and describes itself as "Secure & Encrypted".

Subscriptions renew automatically with the card on file. Refunds are possible only within 24 hours of payment with minimal usage, and a chargeback may cancel your subscription and forfeit your tokens. Our list of AI girlfriend apps with discreet billing compares statement names across apps.

Privacy: Dondi can train AI on your chats

Section 9.4 of the terms says your content may be used to train, improve and enhance AI systems. The privacy policy lists "AI model training and improvement" as a use of your content and interaction data, by Dondi or its technology partners. That is a plain yes, and it covers partners as well as Dondi.

The privacy policy also says "We do not sell your Personal Data", and shares it with service providers such as payment processors and billing platforms, with technology partners for AI processing, and with authorities when the law requires. Deleting your account and data

The privacy policy lets you request deletion of your personal data where the law requires it, by contacting support@dondi.ai. No self-serve delete button is described. Data is kept only as long as necessary, with periods that vary by data type and legal need; no fixed periods are given.

Age checks and content rules

Entry is behind an 18+ age gate with an "I'm under 18" exit. The terms reserve the right to ask for age verification documents at any time, and failing that check can suspend the account.

The rules allow adult, uncensored chat and 18+ pictures and video with fictional characters. They ban any content involving or resembling minors, impersonation or deepfakes of real people, whether public figures, celebrities or private individuals, non-consensual intimate content, and sharing other people's personal data.

How to use Dondi AI safely

• Use a separate email address and a made-up name in chats, since content may be used for AI training.
• Do not upload or describe real people; the rules ban it and it puts them at risk.
• Pay by card or Apple Pay and decide within 24 hours whether to keep the plan.
• Only install apps from Dondi's own site; the App Store "Dondi" app is from another company.
