What the Infatuated AI free plan includes

Infatuated's plans page lists a Free tier with "up to ten messages per chat" and says you can start creating a companion for free. You sign up with an email address or a Google, Discord or X account, and the free tier does not ask for a card.

The cap is worded per chat, not per day. If that holds, you can open conversations with a few ready-made characters and send up to 10 messages in each, which is a fair way to compare writing styles. The pages do not say whether the count ever resets, so treat those 10 messages as a one-off allowance for each character.

What you have to pay for

Almost everything that sets Infatuated apart sits behind a paid plan. Its plans page lists these as paid features:

• Voice chat, including the real-time calls the site advertises
• 18+ pictures and video, and the one-click video generator
• Custom characters, which cost 25 tokens each to create
• The private gallery, blur removal and faster replies
• No ads, which suggests the free tier shows them

One contradiction is worth knowing about. The plans page says you can start creating a companion for free, yet the same page lists custom characters as a paid feature and its token list charges 25 tokens to create one. You may be able to open the builder for free, but finishing a character looks like a paid step.

How far 10 free messages per chat go

Ten messages is roughly five minutes of back and forth. That is enough to judge three things: whether a character writes in a style you like, how quickly replies arrive, and whether she stays in role when you change the subject. It is not enough to judge memory, which Infatuated sells as a main feature, because memory only shows over days.

Paying does not make chat free either. The plans page charges 1 token per message sent, while the terms say a standard text message uses 2 tokens. On the 1-month plan's 100 tokens, that is 100 messages by the plans page's count or 50 by the terms' count, before you spend anything on pictures or voice. Spend the free messages on purpose: tell the character one detail about yourself, check whether she uses it a few messages later, then move on to a second character and repeat.

The cheapest paid Infatuated AI plan

The lowest monthly rate is the 12-month plan at $6.99 a month, charged as $83.88 up front, with 175 tokens a month. The 1-month plan costs $9.99 and includes 100 tokens. Because the refund policy says all sales are final, the 1-month plan is the cheaper mistake if the app turns out not to suit you.
