What the SpicyChat free plan includes

SpicyChat free plan4,096-token context memory, 180-token replies and 3 personas; no conversation images or text-to-speech; no free trial

According to SpicyChat's plan page (plans and what is included), free users get:

  • Unlimited chat with ads, on the basic models
  • A 4,096-token context, so characters see roughly the last few pages of conversation
  • Replies of up to 180 tokens
  • 3 personas, plus group chats and character creation

You must be 18 or over, and in some regions you must pass a selfie age check before adult content unlocks. Our SpicyChat review covers the rest of the app.

What you have to pay for

  • Get A Taste ($5.95 a month or $60.00 a year): no ads, the Memory Manager and up to 10 personas. Context stays at 4,096 tokens.
  • True Supporter ($19.95 a month): 8,192-token context, Semantic Memory 2.0, 300-token replies, conversation images, advanced models and 50 personas.
  • I'm All In ($29.95 a month): the largest context, text-to-speech and custom voices, priority generation, images for all characters, generation settings, every model and 100 personas.

So the free plan and the cheapest paid tier have the same memory size. Paying for Get A Taste mostly buys an ad-free app and memory tools, not a bigger context.

How far free chat goes

There is no message cap, so free chat never runs out. The limit is depth: with a 4,096-token context, a character forgets earlier parts of a long scene, and 180-token replies are short. For quick scenes and trying characters, that is fine. For a story that runs across days, you will notice characters losing track.

Free also means no pictures and no voice. If those matter, compare apps in our AI girlfriend pictures ranking, where some free plans include a few images.

The cheapest paid option

Get A Taste is the cheapest tier: $5.95 month to month, or $60.00 a year, which works out to $5 a month.

Free alternatives with pictures or calls

SpicyChat's uncapped free chat is hard to beat. These three apps from our ranking have useful free plans with something SpicyChat's lacks:

  • Secrets AI (8.5): 20 messages a day, no images or calls, with an editable long-term memory on every plan.
  • Selira AI (8.2): Unlimited chat, 2 companions, 3 days of history, the closest match to SpicyChat's open free chat, with group chat and personas.
  • HeyGF (8.0): 30 messages a day, no photos or videos, with unlimited messages on paid tiers.

Our free AI girlfriend ranking compares every free plan, and Selira AI vs SpicyChat puts the two uncapped free plans side by side.
