Joi AI pricing: what we know about Premium and Neurons

Joi plans: what each one includes

We read Joi's terms, help center and checkout text on 29 September 2026. These are the plans it sells:

Plans are billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, and the terms also allow semi-annual billing. Offers can bill a promotional price for the first period and the normal price after that. Because the price appears only inside an account, check the renewal amount at checkout before paying.

What Neurons cost and what they buy

Neurons pay for romantic messages on free accounts, photos, videos, virtual gifts and some advanced image options:

Worked out at Joi's own valuation of about $2 per 100 Neurons:

• a romantic message on a free account: 2 to 4 Neurons, a few cents
• viewing a photo: up to 120 Neurons, about $2.40
• viewing a video: up to 1,900 Neurons, about $38

Monthly, quarterly or yearly

Longer plans carry "Save X%" and "Super saver" labels, so yearly is cheaper per month, as on most apps. Two Joi rules make longer plans less risky than usual: unused monthly benefits (images, videos and Neurons) roll over to the next month, including on yearly plans, and a failed renewal payment only downgrades you to Basic after 7 days.

Premium's free Neurons are worth counting. It includes 20 free Neurons a day plus 50 once, which comes to about 650 in a 30-day month, or roughly $13 at the site's own valuation. That covers several photos, but not one top-priced video. Bot Subscriptions, paid add-ons for single characters, are charged on top of Premium.

The risk is the reverse: subscriptions are generally not refunded once active. Start with the 7-day trial or one month before committing to a year. Compare the result with other apps in our AI girlfriend cost calculator.

Renewal and refunds

Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and cancellation takes effect from the next billing period; the current month's fees and Neurons are not refunded. Joi's refund page lists three cases where you can ask within 14 days of purchase:

• proven card fraud: a full refund;
• a one-time Neuron purchase made by accident: in full if unspent, partly if partly spent;
• a subscription Joi ends for reasons other than a rules breach: a pro rata refund.

Joi discounts, promo codes and coupons

Joi runs several kinds of offer:

• percentage-off and "Save X%" labels on longer plans, with "Don't miss the discount" prompts;
• promotional first-period prices that then renew at the normal price;
• a free 7-day trial of the monthly plan, with a $1 card hold refunded and billing from day 8;
• 10% off every Neuron pack on Premium Plus;
• a discount on the next period if you start to cancel;
• free Neurons in Discord events.

Joi does support promo codes: one per user, applied before you pay. No public code is published, and we know of no working Joi AI promo code. Its help center has a page on what to do when a code does not work.
