Kindroid vs Secrets AI: which AI girlfriend app is better?

Our verdict

Both are adult companion apps with strong memory and calls, so the differences are in the details. Kindroid's subscription, $13.99 a month or $11.67 a month yearly on its website (the app stores charge more), includes flagship models, cascaded memory, up to 10 Kindroids, 20 group chats, voice and video calls, selfies and video selfies. Its free tier gives unlimited messages on a smaller Lite model, and a 3-day trial rolls into a paid plan unless you cancel.

Secrets AI costs less at $9.17 a month yearly and lets you read and edit memory through its Lorebook, which suits one long plotline. It has no video calls or phone app, and free users get 20 messages a day. Kindroid accepts PayPal, Amazon Pay and Cash App, and says chats are encrypted so staff cannot read them in normal operation, but refunds are rare and disputed charges can get an account banned. See Kindroid pricing for its add-ons.
