Talkie is a general-audience character app. Its terms ban pornographic and obscene content, the minimum age is 14, and memory is limited to the current conversation. What it does well is voice: real-time voice chat is free, and its MiniMax-powered tool turns a recent chat into a short video in 5 to 10 minutes. Talkie+ at $9.99 a month removes ads and the energy meter that rations free chat.
Secrets AI is an adults-only companion. Its Lorebook memory keeps a long story straight and lets you correct entries, and Premium ($9.17 a month yearly or $19.99 monthly) includes 8,000 Moments a month for 18+ pictures, video and live calls. Its free plan is 20 messages a day with no media. Talkie's main app is on Google Play only, while Secrets AI runs in any browser. Neither refunds a partial period. The Talkie alternatives page lists other options.
