Who runs Roger

The privacy policy gives the operator's address as 2261 Market Street in San Francisco, and the terms name courts in Sussex County, Delaware. Disputes go to AAA arbitration with a class-action waiver, which is common for US apps but means you give up the option of a group lawsuit. Prighter acts as the company's representative for the UK, EU and Switzerland. A named company, a street address and published terms are the basics to check on any app, and Roger has all three.

Billing: what shows on your statement

Charges appear as Life AI Technologies LLC. The checkout says this is to protect your privacy, and the upgrade page promises no adult transaction on your statement. Roger takes Visa and Mastercard only, with no crypto option.

Two billing rules matter. The site sends a reminder email before a subscription renews, which is good practice. And filing a chargeback can pause your account while the dispute is reviewed, so ask support first if a charge is wrong. Privacy and your chats

The privacy policy does not say whether chats are used to train AI models. It says each companion "learns and evolves" from your conversations and that the team may monitor communications for quality. Flagged conversations may be reviewed by staff.

Tracking is the bigger point. The policy names ad and analytics tools from Google, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Triple Whale and Grindr, and sends sign-ups and purchases to Meta's Conversions API with a hashed email when you accept cookies. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in account settings. Roger says this deletes your messages and conversation history, removes your profile and cancels the subscription. You can also delete single chats without closing the account.

Some data stays. Account and order records may be kept, anonymized data may be kept for billing, fraud prevention and legal reasons, and aggregate data may be kept indefinitely. Age checks and content rules

Roger is for adults 18 and over. From a UK connection, the site asks for a Yoti age check before the adult experience, or lets you continue without adult content. Elsewhere, entry relies on confirming your age.

The community guidelines ban anything involving or resembling minors, images of real people and impersonation, hate, promotion of violence or self-harm, illegal content and attempts to jailbreak the moderation. Flagged chats can be reviewed and accounts banned, and known abuse material is reported to NCMEC. How to use Roger safely

• Reject cookies on your first visit if you do not want ad pixels to see your sign-up.
• Sign up with an email address that does not carry your full name.
• Keep your surname, address, workplace and photos of real people out of chats.
• Pay monthly first; the refund window is only 24 hours.
• Delete old chats you would not want kept, or the whole account when you leave.
