Is GoLove AI free? What the free plan covers and where it stops

What the GoLove AI free plan includes

GoLove leads with its free tier more than almost any app we track. Its homepage answers "Is GoLove AI really free?" with a yes and lists what costs nothing: signing up, regular text chat, memory, voice messages and standard photos. It says the free tier has no daily message limit, and contrasts that with apps that stop after a handful of messages.

• Characters: more than 350 ready-made characters to choose from.
• Stars: a daily reward of 1 or 2 Stars, GoLove's currency for extras.
• Sign-up: an email address or a Google account, with email verification and no card.

Our GoLove AI review covers the characters and media in more detail.

Where free stops: the terms vs the homepage

The homepage and the terms of service do not agree. Section 9 of the terms says that when you reach a usage limit, giving 10 messages as the example, you are sent to the payment page. So treat "no daily limit" as the best case, and expect the paywall to appear at some point in a long free session.

Three other things are paid in practice:

• 18+ chat. The Pro plan card lists NSFW content among its features, and in some places GoLove adds an age check through a provider called Go.cam where local law requires it.
• Better media. HD content, image and video generation and an unlimited feed are Pro features. Free photos are the standard version.
• Some voice notes. The Stars price list says each voice message costs 1 Star to unlock, so free voice notes draw on the 1 or 2 Stars you earn each day.

How far the free plan goes

If the homepage promise holds, GoLove is one of the most generous free plans we track. If the 10-message example in the terms is what you meet, it is one of the smallest. That spread is why we rate its free plan as uncertain rather than great.

Stars stretch the free plan a little. You get 1 or 2 a day from the daily reward, 2 for each friend you invite, and more from quests, and your first video message is free. Referring a friend also unlocks Pro free for 7 days, which is the only way to test Pro without paying.

For comparison, AI Peeps gives 30 messages a day, Secrets AI 20 a day and TryNectar AI 15 messages and 10 pictures a day, and all three publish their limit clearly. Our list of free AI girlfriend apps ranks every free plan, and our guide to free vs paid AI girlfriends explains what paying adds.

The cheapest way to pay for GoLove AI

GoLove has three paid options: Pro, Ultra and a one-time Lifetime Pro. Pro is the one most people need. It costs $19.99 month to month or $9.99 a month on the yearly plan, billed as $119.88 at once, and a 3-month option sits in between.

GoLove also sells a short paid Pro trial for the first month. It renews at the full $19.99 a month unless you cancel, so set a reminder. New accounts see a 70% welcome discount on the Premium button. Note that the prices shown depend on where you are: the price list returned pounds from a UK connection. Our GoLove AI pricing guide covers Stars and every discount.

Free alternatives to GoLove AI

If you want a free plan whose limit is written down and holds, three higher-scoring apps are clearer than GoLove:

• Secrets AI (8.5 out of 10) gives 20 messages a day with its full memory system, but no pictures until you pay. Our Secrets AI review has the detail.
• Selira AI (8.2) does not cap free text chat, keeps history for 3 days, and its paid plans start at $3.60 a month.
• TryNectar AI (8.2) gives 15 messages and 10 image generations a day, the better choice if free pictures matter.

AI Peeps, at the same score as GoLove, offers 30 messages a day on the same model paying users get. Our GoLove AI alternatives page ranks eight options.
