Is OurDream AI safe? Company, privacy and age checks
OurDream AI is safe and legit on the basics: it is run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation with a Dover address, and it publishes a detailed help center, refund policy, privacy policy and safety rules. Two things deserve care: its homepage claims end-to-end encryption while its own privacy summary says outside AI providers process every message, and its refund policy names two more companies besides the Delaware one.

The terms name Dream Studio USA, Inc., with a notice address at 1111B South Governors Avenue in Dover, Delaware, and Delaware law. The refund policy also names Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd, without saying how they relate. Support is at support@ourdream.ai or the Request Help button, and privacy requests go to trust@ourdream.ai.
The terms include binding arbitration, but you can opt out within 30 days by emailing trust@ourdream.ai. If you might ever want to take part in a group claim, send that email when you sign up.
Billing: what to expect
OurDream takes cards and crypto, and G2A sells its redeem codes; PayPal is not accepted. It does not publish the name that appears on your card statement, so look for a charge you do not recognize around your sign-up date. There is no App Store or Google Play app, so billing never goes through Apple or Google.
The two billing surprises are both documented. The annual plan is charged in full on day one. And if a subscription lapses, every picture and video you made, plus any community packs you bought, is blurred until you pay again. Privacy and the encryption claim
The homepage FAQ says chats are end-to-end encrypted and that "no one can read them, not even us". OurDream's own privacy summary says each message is processed by third-party AI model providers to generate a reply, which is not possible under end-to-end encryption in the usual sense. The privacy policy describes AES encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit and SOC 2 certified hosting, which is solid but different.
The policy also lists training its AI and machine-learning models among the uses of your information, and names a payment processor, an age-verification provider, hosting and Google Analytics as recipients. Staff see private chats only with your consent during support or on a lawful request, and OurDream says it does not sell data. Deleting your account and data
Delete the account from the "danger zone" at the bottom of your profile page (or Settings, Account management), or email trust@ourdream.ai. It takes 24 to 48 hours, cancels any active plan, and permanently removes your generations, unpublished characters, chat history and unused coins, with no refund for the coins.

Age checks and content rules
Every account confirms it is 18 or over, and an age gate shows on entry. Where the law requires more, including the UK under the Online Safety Act and Australia, you must pass a check by Go.cam or AgeVerif: a face age estimate, a selfie with liveness, a government ID or a credit card. OurDream says it receives only a pass or fail.
The rules allow explicit adult roleplay, pictures and video of adult characters. Hard limits apply in private and public chats: nothing depicting or implying under-18s, including childlike looks or settings; no characters based on real people, apart from narrow parody; no deepfake voices; no extremism or excessive gore. Is OurDream a scam? Reported incidents
No. OurDream delivers what it sells and documents its prices and rules in more detail than most rivals. A news search in September 2026 found no reported data breach, regulator fine or lawsuit naming OurDream or Dream Studio USA, Inc.
Most complaints you will see are about rules that are written down but easy to miss: the annual charge on day one, blurred media after a lapse, coins not carried into a new subscription, and no refund once 25% is used. Our OurDream review weighs these against the features.
How to use OurDream safely
- Opt out of arbitration by emailing trust@ourdream.ai within 30 days if that matters to you.
- Pay monthly by card at first; crypto is never refunded.
- Download pictures and videos regularly so a lapse does not lock them.
- Keep your real name, address and photos of real people out of chats; messages go to outside AI providers.
- Contact support before any chargeback, or the account may be suspended.
