Is SweetDream AI safe and legit? What its policies say

Who runs SweetDream AI

The footer and about page name Tetractys Development Ltd, 293 Northfield Avenue, London W5 4XB, England. Here are the facts from its terms and privacy policy, checked on 29 September 2026:

Support is at support@sweetdream.ai, and the contact form promises a reply within 24 hours. The terms cap SweetDream's liability at what you paid in the previous 12 months, and allow price changes with 30 days' notice. The service is closed to people in Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Russia and Belarus.

Billing and what shows on your statement

The plan and token pages carry a "Privacy in bank statement" badge and the line "No adult transaction in your bank statement". SweetDream takes Visa, Mastercard and other cards, and crypto through Confirmo, which its terms name. Card details are held by payment processors, not by SweetDream.

Its anti-money-laundering policy says ID or proof of address may be requested for some payments. Prices appear in your local currency. Compare billing privacy across apps on our discreet billing page and apps that take crypto.

Privacy: training, sharing and encryption

The privacy policy says chats are stored to personalize the service and improve AI models, and chat data may be used to train models in anonymized, aggregated form. The terms also give SweetDream a license to use your content to improve its AI.

Its pages do not fully agree. The FAQ says chats and generated content are not shared with third parties. The policy says data goes to providers for cloud hosting, payments and analytics, may be disclosed where the law requires or in a sale of the business, and that aggregated anonymous data may be shared for research. The policy claims encryption in transit and at rest and end-to-end encrypted conversations. You can opt out of marketing email and non-essential analytics. Deleting your SweetDream account

Go to Settings, Danger zone, Delete account, which says it will "permanently delete your account and all your data". The dialog also warns that some associated data may be kept and tells you to contact support for full deletion. You can delete single chats, your chat history, characters and generated images or videos separately.

The policy says most data is removed immediately on deletion, inactive accounts are deleted after 2 years, and anti-money-laundering records are kept for at least 5 years. Email support@sweetdream.ai if you want written confirmation. Our account deletion guide has a checklist.

Age checks and content rules

SweetDream is for adults only, but the checks are light: the terms require you to be 18 or older, onboarding asks you to confirm "I'm 18+", and checkout says continuing confirms your age. No ID check is described for ordinary use. Our age verification guide explains stronger methods other apps use.

Adult content between users and AI companions is allowed. Banned: anything involving minors, non-consensual activity, extreme violence, illegal activity, harassment, spam and manipulating companions into harmful output. Image prompts that break the rules are blocked, and repeated attempts can get an account blocked.

Reported problems and the lookalike app

None of the SweetDream sources we checked for this page report a data breach. Our data breach page tracks incidents reported across the market.

SweetDream has no official native app. The App Store's "Sweet Dream AI Companion" is sold by Narek Melkumyan and uses a different legal site, and Google Play shows no Tetractys app. Use sweetdream.ai in your browser and install it as a web app if you want an icon.

How to use SweetDream AI safely

• Start free; it needs no card.
• Test calls on a weekly pass, and ask for a refund within 7 days if you do not use it.
• Keep your name, address and photos of real people out of chats and prompts.
• Turn off non-essential analytics in your settings.
• Only use sweetdream.ai, not the lookalike App Store app.
