| Top plan | $34.99 | $15 | $179.99 | Discounted from $49.99/month and $600/year. Unlimited messaging and HD generations, all 350+ customisations and best models, 2,500 advanced credits a month, 64K context, long-term memory, video generation and video messages, 10 personas, 100 voice messages, voice chat, priority support |
The three paid tiers differ in message allowance, memory context, customization options and personas. Premium is enough for most chat. Pro adds unlimited HD images and a longer 16K context. The top plan is the only one with long-term memory, video generation, voice chat and a monthly credit grant of 2,500.
Each plan is shown against a higher list price, for example $19.99 a month for Premium, with the lower price marked as a discount. Nobody pays the list price, so treat the discounted price as the real one when comparing apps.
What credits cost
| Notes | Credits pay for advanced roleplay, image and video generation and some AI models; live features are priced per second. Per-action credit prices are not published. Credit packs: 2,500 for $4.99; 5,500 (+100) for $10.99; 11,000 (+600) for $21.99; 18,000 (+2,000) for $35.99; 25,000 (+5,000) for $49.99; 50,000 (+15,000) for $99.99. |
|---|
Credits pay for advanced roleplay, image and video generation on better models, and live features, which are billed per second. Nectar does not publish a per-action credit price. Our TryNectar AI review notes one published ratio: an image costs the same as 10 basic messages.
Pack prices work out to about $2 per 1,000 credits on the smallest pack and about $1.54 per 1,000 on the largest, counting its bonus credits. The top plan's 2,500 monthly credits equal the smallest pack. Our guide to AI girlfriend tokens and credits explains how to compare currencies like this.
Monthly or yearly: the real saving
- Premium: $5 a month yearly against $9.99 monthly, a 50% saving.
- Pro: $10 against $19.99, a 50% saving.
- Top plan: $15 against $34.99, a 57% saving.
Those are real savings against prices you can actually buy, not against the list prices. The yearly plan is charged in one payment, and fees are non-refundable except case by case, so move to yearly only once you know Nectar suits you.
Renewal and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically on the same terms until you cancel, and the terms allow for daily, weekly, monthly or annual billing periods. Except where the law requires, fees are non-refundable; Nectar may grant some requests case by case. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
There is one cost of leaving that is easy to miss: when a subscription ends, premium memory and stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible. Our page on cancelling Nectar AI explains how to prepare for that.
Nectar AI discounts, promo codes and coupons
Nectar publishes three real discounts:
- Referral price: signing up through a referral link lowers plan prices by a further 20%, for example Premium to $7.99 a month.
- Bonus credits: larger credit packs add bonus credits, up to 65,000 credits in the biggest pack.
- Contests: occasional contests award free plan months and credits.
Nectar does not publish a coupon or promo code, and we know of no working one. Pages that list "Nectar AI promo codes" usually recycle expired codes; the referral price is the discount that reliably works.
The cheapest way to use Nectar AI
- Use the free plan for a week: 15 messages and 10 images a day costs nothing (see is Nectar AI free?).
- If you want more chat, take one month of Premium, through a referral link if you have one.
- Buy credits only for the features you use, starting with the smallest pack.
- Skip Pro unless you need HD images or more personas, and take the top plan only if long-term memory, video or voice chat is the point.
Our AI girlfriend cost calculator shows the monthly bill for the features you actually use.
