Talkie pricing: what Talkie+ and gems really cost

Every Talkie plan and price

Talkie's US prices come from its App Store listing, and its FAQ gives the same monthly Talkie+ price (Talkie FAQ).

Standard is the plan most people need: unlimited chats and chat inspirations, persona customization, no ads and daily gems. Pro costs more than twice as much a month and mainly adds extra cloud storage days for syncing chat history. Neither tier unlocks adult content. Our Talkie review explains what each feature does.

What gems cost and what they buy

Gems buy extra chat times when your free limit runs out, and pay for card draws and gifts to characters. Talkie publishes no per-action gem price, so you cannot work out the cost of one extra chat. The App Store sells gem packs from $1.99 to $19.99. Gem recharges are generally non-refundable, so buy small first. Our tokens and coins guide explains how these currencies add to a monthly bill.

Yearly vs monthly: how much you save

The yearly Standard plan is the best value by far. At $49.99 a year it works out to $4.17 a month, about 58% less than $9.99 month to month.

The catch is the refund rule: fees are non-refundable and partial months are not refunded, so a year is money you will not get back if you stop. Try the free plan for a week, and pay yearly only once you use Talkie most days.

Renewal and refunds

Talkie+ renews automatically until you cancel, and you move back to the free plan when the paid period ends. Talkie's terms say all fees are non-refundable to the fullest extent the law allows, with no refunds for a partial month (terms of service). Its FAQ adds that recharges are generally non-refundable except for system errors or duplicate transactions, which customer service handles.

Talkie discounts, promo codes and coupons

We know of no working Talkie promo code, and Talkie does not publish one. The discounts it shows on its own site are:

• A "-50%" Talkie+ banner on the website.
• An "extra -50% first year" offer, shown as a first-year price followed by a higher yearly price after that. Check the renewal price before you accept it.
• The yearly plan itself, about 58% cheaper than monthly.

Offers can differ by country and by store, so compare the web price with the App Store or Google Play price before you pay.

The cheapest way to use Talkie, and how it compares

The cheapest way is the free plan, since voice chat is included. If ads and energy limits get in the way, yearly Talkie+ Standard at $4.17 a month is the cheapest upgrade.

Against apps that allow 18+ chat and live calls:

• Nomi AI: $8.33 a month on a yearly plan, $15.99 month to month, with strong memory.
• Kindroid: $11.67 a month on a yearly plan, $13.99 month to month, with store apps on iPhone and Android.
• TryNectar AI: $5 a month on a yearly plan, $9.99 month to month.
