What the AI Peeps free plan includes

AI Peeps calls its free tier Peep Starter. According to its plans wiki, free users chat on the same model as paying users, so the replies you get on day one are the replies you would pay for. What changes is how much you can do.

• Messages: 30 text messages a day. After several heavy days the allowance drops to 10, then extra messages cost 2 PeepCoins each.
• PeepCoins: 50 a month. New accounts start with 50, and linking Discord adds 75 more.
• Chat slots: 3 permanent chats and 3 saved Peeps (the site's name for its characters).
• Voice: no voice allowance on the free plan.

You can sign up with an email address or a Google account, and no card is needed. Visitors without an account get a few messages on a lighter model before the site asks them to join.

What you have to pay for

Every paid plan removes the daily message cap and adds a bigger monthly PeepCoin allowance. Everything visual costs PeepCoins on any plan, including the free one:

• Pictures: 10 PeepCoins each, and 10 to edit one.
• Video: 40 PeepCoins for a short 480p clip on the base model, rising to 550 for 15 seconds at 1080p. Higher models cost more.
• Characters: the wiki prices a new Peep at 10 PeepCoins, an edit at 5 and a Peep made from an image at 25.
• Voice messages: Peep Pal includes 600 a month and Peep Pro 2,800. After that each one costs 3 PeepCoins.

So the free 50 PeepCoins buy about 5 pictures, or one short clip, or 25 extra messages. Viewing and editing what a character remembers is a Peep Pro feature. Our guide to tokens and coins explains why most apps charge this way.

How far 30 free messages a day go

Thirty messages is enough for one proper conversation a day, not an evening of roleplay. If you use every message every day, that is up to about 900 a month, which is more than most free plans we track allow. The catch is the heavy-use rule: after several busy days the allowance falls to 10, and we found no published rule for when it goes back up.

The cheapest way to pay for AI Peeps

If 30 messages a day runs out too fast, the cheapest upgrade is Peep Chat at $8.99 a month, shown as a discount from $10.99. It removes the message cap and adds 300 PeepCoins a month, which covers about 30 pictures.

Yearly billing is offered on every paid plan. The site's own settings price a year at ten times the monthly rate, so you get two months free if you commit. Cards work again through CCBill since 4 September 2026 and renew automatically, while crypto, Telegram Stars and G2A keys buy a fixed period that never renews. Free alternatives to AI Peeps

AI Peeps has one of the better free plans for daily text chat, but it has no live calls and the free coins run out fast if you want pictures. Three apps with higher scores offer a different free deal:
