What the free Lovescape plan includes

We checked Lovescape's pricing data and help center on 29 September 2026. The free tier, which the site calls "Free forever", gives you:

• Chat. Messages are not metered in chips, so talking to a character costs nothing.
• Memory. The blog says characters have permanent memory on every plan, free included.
• Character creation. You can build your own AI characters from scratch.
• 80 chips, once. A one-time grant you can spend on pictures or video.

What free accounts miss is the creator badge and a monthly chip allowance. You sign up with email, Google, X or Discord, and it runs in the browser. There is no App Store or Google Play app; the site can be installed as a web app. For the full picture of the app, read our Lovescape review.

What you have to pay for

Premium is where media opens up. Lovescape lists these Premium features:

• unlimited chat and voice messages
• custom characters, 18+ pictures and 18+ video clips
• 600 chips a month, plus the right to buy chip packs
• a creator badge and a 15% referral commission

One detail is worth reading twice. Premium lists "unlimited chat" as a paid feature, while the blog and help pages say chat is never chip-metered on the free plan. Lovescape does not publish a free message cap, so if you hit a limit, that is the likely reason. Voice messages also sit on the Premium list, so treat voice as paid.

How far the free chips go

Chat does not touch your chips, so a free account can talk as long as it likes within whatever cap applies. The 80 chips are for media, and here Lovescape is vague: each image shows its chip cost before you generate it, and the cost varies with the settings you pick. Video costs more, and the price per clip is not published.

That means we cannot tell you exactly how many pictures 80 chips buy. What we can say:

• Chips never expire, so there is no rush to spend them.
• Chips cannot be refunded once you have them.
• Free accounts cannot buy more; chip packs are sold to active subscribers only.
• Lovescape runs chip events, such as 10% extra chips on every pack from 23 to 29 September 2026, but those apply to purchases.

The cheapest way to pay, if you do

There is no public free trial. The site's checkout code mentions trial memberships, but no terms are published, so do not count on one. These are the plans Lovescape lists:

Premium costs $19.99 month to month. The 12-month plan cuts that to $7.99 a month, but the full $95.88 is charged on day one, and a 3-month option sits in between at 35% off.
