Is My Lovely AI free? The Starter plan and its limits

What the free Starter plan includes

We read My Lovely AI's premium page, terms and llms.txt file on 29 September 2026. The Starter plan is marked "forever free" and gives you:

• the base image and chat models
• access to video creation
• saving and sharing the images you make
• 1 character generation, so you can design one companion of your own
• the site's 100+ ready-made characters to chat with

You sign up with email or Google and verify your email; no card is asked for. The site's llms.txt file adds that free accounts get 5 free tokens, which the premium page does not mention. Our My Lovely AI review covers the characters and features in full.

What you have to pay for

Premium Plus is the plan the public premium page sells. Over the free plan it adds:

• 450 tokens a month for photos, video and voice
• unlimited free chat, with no token cost per message
• exclusive models and text-prompt characters, where you describe her in your own words
• private generations with no watermark
• a priority queue and batch generations
• creations kept forever instead of for 7 days

Some extras cost tokens on any plan. Unlocking a character's private gallery costs 50 tokens, and token top-ups are sold in packs. The full list of plans and packs is on our My Lovely AI pricing page.

How far the free messages and tokens go

Free accounts have a "Free Messages" allowance that shows in account settings, but My Lovely AI does not publish the number anywhere we could read. Premium makes chat free with no token cost, which tells you that free chat is capped.

The 5 free tokens mentioned in llms.txt will not go far, and the site does not publish a token price per photo or video. You can earn more in two ways the site describes: a daily login streak, and missions. Some missions pay tokens for posting reviews on Trustpilot, F6S or There's An AI For That, or posts on Reddit, so treat glowing reviews of the app with some care.

The most important limit is storage. Free creations are kept for 7 days, so download anything you want to keep. For how token systems work across apps, see our guide to AI girlfriend tokens.

The 2-day trial and the cheapest paid plan

My Lovely AI has no free trial. It sells a 2-day trial pass with 30 tokens for a small fee, and that pass renews at $19.99 a month unless you cancel within the two days. These are all the plans we found:

Note the Premium row. It appears in the site's pricing code and on the video gallery paywall, with 300 tokens a month, but the public premium page shows only Premium Plus. If you want the cheaper plan, look for it at the paywall rather than the premium page. On Premium Plus, the 12-month plan works out to $6 a month, billed $71.96 once. Our guide to canceling My Lovely AI shows how to stop the trial in time.

Free alternatives to My Lovely AI

If the Starter plan's cap and 7-day storage feel tight, these ranked apps have free plans that go further in one direction or another:

Selira AI allows unlimited free text chat. TryNectar AI gives 10 free images a day, which beats My Lovely AI's handful of free tokens for pictures. Lovescape keeps chat and permanent memory free and adds 80 chips once.
