You are shut in her room, and you must "convince the Yandere cat girl to unlock the door," or find hidden clues and solve puzzles. There is no script: she answers whatever you type, which is why every playthrough goes differently.
A yandere is an anime character type whose affection turns possessive, and the itch.io page tags the game as both horror and romance. It is credited to DGSpitzer, vivyhasadream and AlterStaff, and its first devlog post, an API setup tutorial, is dated April 3, 2023 (devlog). On itch.io it holds a 3.8 out of 5 rating from 287 ratings.
Where to download it, and is it free?
The only official source is the game's itch.io page. It is a download for Windows, macOS and Linux, with no browser version, and the price is "name your own price," so you can enter $0.
The real cost is the AI. The page states plainly that an OpenAI API key "is required to play this game." You create the key in your own OpenAI account, paste it into the game, and OpenAI bills you for each conversation, so set a spending limit in your OpenAI account first. The developers say keys are not shared. Azure Speech is optional and only adds her voice.

Setup takes about ten minutes: download the build for your system from itch.io, unzip it, create an API key on OpenAI's platform, add a small amount of credit and a monthly limit, then paste the key into the game's settings. Is it on mobile, iPad or Steam?
There is no official mobile or iPad version of either game; when a player asked about mobile on the itch.io page, the question went unanswered. The original is not on Steam either.

Unlike the original, it has an overarching story and more AI characters. AlterStaff also sells it on itch.io with a Steam key included (itch.io).
