Why people look for a DreamGF alternative
DreamGF scores 7.9, number 18 of the 31 apps we track. Its generator and live calls are good. The reasons people leave are in its own policies:
- Renewal prices. Plans renew at their full price after a discounted first period, more than four times the first year on the annual plan.
- No refunds after use, and a possible $1.99 monthly maintenance fee on former buyers' accounts.
- Short memory. Our data rates its memory as conversational, with no personas or preset scenarios.
- English only. Other languages are listed as "coming soon" on its roadmap.
Every pick above keeps live voice calls, since that is DreamGF's strongest feature. Our DreamGF review covers what it does well.
What to look for in an app like DreamGF
Three checks cover most of what goes wrong with DreamGF:
- The renewal price. Look at what a plan costs in year two, not just the first payment.
- Long-term memory. All seven picks list long-term or persistent memory. See our AI girlfriend memory ranking.
- A published call price. DreamGF charges 7 tokens a minute. Compare call costs on our voice call ranking.

Which DreamGF alternative to pick
All seven keep live calls, so pick by the second thing you want:
- Memory you can see and fix. Secrets AI stores it in an editable Lorebook.
- A generator plus group scenes. OurDream is the closest to DreamGF's builder, with group chats added.
- A long relationship. Nomi AI is built for it.
- The lowest price with calls. TryNectar AI, then FantasyGF.
- Roleplay with personas and scenarios. My Dream Companion or Infatuated AI.
Before you switch, cancel DreamGF ahead of its renewal date, since the plan renews at full price. Then delete the account once you are done, because the membership policy allows a $1.99 monthly maintenance fee on former buyers' accounts. Our DreamGF cancel steps cover the Segpay and Rocketgate routes.
Free alternatives to DreamGF
