Guest mode means you can open the site and start typing before you hand over an email address. On the apps below it is a trial of a few messages, not a full free plan, but it answers the first question fast: do you like how this app writes?

For most other apps in our ranking, including Candy AI, FantasyGF and OurDream, our research found no guest chat, so expect to sign up before the first message. DreamGF's free trial needs an email but no card. Nomi AI has no guest mode at all, but its sign-up is a single Google or Apple tap.

What you lose without an account

A guest chat is a demo. The app has nowhere to file what you said, so three things are missing:

• Memory. Without an account there is no history for her to recall, so each visit starts from zero. That is the main reason people search for "no sign up good memory" and find nothing: the two do not go together.
• Your own character. Custom characters are saved to an account. LusyChat says an account is needed to keep history and private characters, and Selira AI asks you to register to keep your history.
• A decent message allowance. Guest caps are small. HeyGF gives guests 5 messages a day against 30 for signed-in users, and AI Peeps puts guests on a lighter model than its free accounts.

Some limits follow your device rather than your account. Secrets AI ties its free daily allowance to the device, so making a second account does not reset it.

No email, no login: the closest you can get

Searches like "ai girlfriend no email no login" usually come from wanting privacy, not from hating forms. You can get most of that privacy with the right sign-up method:

• Google or Apple sign-in. Nomi AI uses only Google or Apple authentication, so there is no password to manage, and its wiki says those providers do not get access to your conversations. If you sign in with Apple, you can choose Hide My Email and share a relay address instead of your real one.
• Other logins. Secrets AI and Candy AI accept Google, LusyChat accepts Telegram, X and Discord, and OurDream sends a one-time code to your email instead of using a password.
• A separate email. Any app that needs email is happy with a fresh address you use for nothing else. Kupid AI is the exception to watch: it rejects disposable email domains and + aliases.

No-login chat sites, demos and bots

Search for a no-sign-up AI girlfriend and you will find character generators, demo pages and chatbots that never ask for an account. Some are fine for a quick laugh. Many do not say who runs them, where your messages go or how long they are kept.

One app shows the risk. Muah AI offers a "Play Demo (No Login Needed)" option, but in September 2024 it was breached, and Have I Been Pwned lists 1.9 million email addresses exposed alongside the prompts people had written. We left it out of the picks above for that reason.

If an app never asks who you are, assume it also never promises much about your data. A named company with a published privacy policy is worth more than skipping one form.

Is chatting as a guest safe?

A guest chat is not a private chat. Your messages still travel to the company's servers and pass through its moderation, and the app can still see your IP address and device. What you avoid is linking those messages to an email address.

A few habits keep a guest session low-risk:

1. Do not type your real name, workplace or location, even in a demo.
2. Check the footer for a named company before you type anything personal. Secrets AI names Secret Labs Inc. in the United States, and Selira AI names Sria Digital B.V. in the Netherlands.
3. Expect an age check at some point. Apps allow 18+ chat only for adults, and in the UK many ask for a selfie or ID before explicit content.
4. Close the tab when you are done on a shared device, since guest sessions can sit in the browser.

When a free account is worth making

Make an account once guest mode has shown you the writing is good. A free account costs nothing on every app in this list, and none of them asks for a card to open one. In return you get saved history, a larger daily allowance and a character that can remember you.

The gain varies a lot. Selira AI goes from a few guest messages to unlimited free texting. Secrets AI goes to 20 messages a day, HeyGF from 5 to 30 a day and AI Peeps to 30 a day on its full model. Kupid AI's free tier stops at 15 messages in total, so treat it as a longer trial.
