Unlimited free or unlimited paid

"Unlimited messages" means two different deals, and they suit different people.

• Unlimited on the free plan. Selira AI is the clearest case: unlimited text chat for free, with pictures and video on paid credits. Kindroid is unlimited for free on its smaller Lite model. Lovescape says chat and memory stay free, always.
• Unlimited once you pay. Secrets AI, Candy AI, OurDream, Dondi.ai, HeyGF and Kupid AI cap or charge free chat, then remove the cap on a paid plan.

Paid plans that still count your messages

Paying does not always make chat unlimited. Several well-known apps still cap or charge messages on their cheaper paid plans:

An unlimited plan removes the message counter. It does not remove every limit, and three matter more than the count:

• Message length. Secrets AI allows 500 characters per message on the free plan and 1,000 on Premium. Nomi AI allows 400 on free and 800 on paid.
• Memory. Unlimited messages do not mean she remembers them all. Selira AI's free plan keeps history for 3 days, and Kupid AI's Pro plan remembers the last 100 messages.
• Model and speed. Kindroid's free unlimited chat runs on a smaller model than the paid flagship, and LusyChat's free tier gives slow responses.

Usage rules still apply. Kupid AI's terms, for example, ban bypassing its usage limits, and scripted or automated chatting breaks most apps' terms. For normal chatting you will not notice.

2. Check what a message costs after you pay. If the plan page mentions tokens per message, it is not unlimited in practice.
